In July, Canada celebrates its national holiday, Canada Day, on July 1st. Additionally, the Calgary Stampede, a 10-day rodeo and festival, takes place in Alberta. Preschool learning environments could be created around these events by incorporating Canadian flags, maple leaves, and other Canadian symbols into the classroom decor. Teachers could also introduce children to Canadian culture through books, music, and art activities. Potential preschool lesson plan ideas could include learning about Canadian animals, such as moose and beavers, and their habitats. Children could also learn about Canadian geography, including the provinces and territories, and famous landmarks such as Niagara Falls. Additionally, teachers could introduce children to Canadian traditions, such as eating poutine or playing hockey
