In November, Japan celebrates several major events including Culture Day on November 3rd and Labor Thanksgiving Day on November 23rd. Culture Day is a national holiday that celebrates Japanese culture and arts, while Labor Thanksgiving Day is a day to give thanks for workers and their contributions to society. Preschool learning environments could be created around these events by incorporating traditional Japanese arts and crafts, such as origami and calligraphy, into the classroom. Teachers could also introduce children to Japanese music and dance, and encourage them to try traditional Japanese foods. Potential preschool lesson plan ideas could include learning about Japanese culture and traditions, such as the importance of respect and gratitude in Japanese society. Children could also learn about the different types of jobs and careers in Japan, and the contributions that workers make to society. Additionally, teachers could incorporate lessons on the history and significance of these holidays, and encourage children to create their own artwork and crafts inspired by Japanese culture
